Finally back!

So we've been on vacation, and working like crazy before that, and I'm finally back to posting! We were at our favorite place this week- Disneyland! Sadly, my DSLR died our first night there, before we'd even gone into the parks, so I used my husband's point-and-shoot all week. I think I still got some great photos, though!

I love to just sit and breathe for a few minutes here and there at Disneyland, and just soak in the magic. We ate lunch one day at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta and this delightful band was playing. I love how Disney incorporates live entertainment! These guys (and girl) were the Ellis Island Boys. Their music was wonderful. They had just finished playing "All That Jazz" when I asked for a quick picture. I loved just sitting there in the sun, eating a delicious meal (sun-dried tomato pasta) and listening to wonderful music with my best friend and husband. It was definitely a beautiful, simple moment.

Simple Things Sunday

This week we went to a cute show at our local theatre (as in, across the street from our house!) put on by the youth; Magic of Disney. It was adorable. They sang lots of Disney songs and did some skits. We noticed it on the billboard last week and immediately bought tickets, as we are huge Disney fans and like to support our theatre. I just realized it isn't even listed anymore on this shot of the billboard, taken right after the show, but that's okay; we still have our playbill!

Disney's World of Color

In June, the amazing World of Color premiered at California Adventure in the Disneyland Resort. We saw it just a couple of weeks after it opened. It's basically the Bellagio fountain show on steroids, with plenty of Disney magic. Here are a few shots I took the night we saw it.

There's a fantastic a cappella group at BYU whose concerts we've been going to for years. We went to a concert tonight and I managed to get a pretty good shot of the guys from the back of the theater.
