Sundance Saturday

My husband and I took a lift ride at Sundance yesterday, a summer tradition. It was a perfect afternoon. I brought my big camera but took most of the photos on my phone, using Instagram. I love that app!

Sundance is so beautiful at every time of year!

Pismo Beach, California

I realized I never shared any beach pictures from California! And since I'm missing it right now, I thought I'd post some. These were all taken in Pismo Beach on September 16th. Have a great weekend!

Summer garden

My friend's parents shared some veggies from their garden with us this weekend. They have a huge backyard and big garden which was very fun to photograph! I love this time of year.

Summer evening/summer night

I took the first picture while my husband and I were mowing the lawn last night. A few hours later, we drove up to Vivian Park in Provo Canyon and I caught the Milky Way. :)

Lincoln City, Oregon (Simple Things Sunday)

IMG_2150
This was my first time to the Oregon coast. I'm visiting my family while my husband
works, so it was Mom, Dad, Trev, B and I. We had a great time!

The water is always cold, but the scenery can't be beat. I miss the ocean, having
grown up in California, so I visit it whenever I can!

You just can't beat a good sunset over the ocean.

Sundance ski-lift ride (Simple Things Sunday)

This was a perfect afternoon. I took my little brother and sister, who are visiting for the summer, to Sundance ski resort. We had a delicious lunch and when Betsy commented that the ski lift looked fun and she'd never been on one, I took them up! It was so fun! The weather was hot but the sky was perfectly blue and it was a long, quiet, peaceful ride. We had a wonderful time.

Rainy day in Utah

This year we've had so much rain. Today B (my little sister) wanted to explore our backyard. The raindrops on the leaves were beautiful!

Off to Disneyland!

We're leaving tomorrow morning, spending some time in Washington with my family, then arriving at Disneyland with my little brother and sister on Sunday. And then we're keeping them for another 5 weeks! We're going to have a blast! I'll have thousands of photos, I'm sure.

Happy summer!

Sunday driving 9/5

There are already some fall colors out! Isn't that crazy? It feels like it should still be about June. These were taken in Hobble Creek Canyon in Springville.

A few photos from our trip to Park City this past week. We rode the alpine slide and zipline. It was awesome!

The Tetons

I was really excited to catch my first glimpse of the Tetons on our way back from Yellowstone. (It was too dark on the way there.) Grand Teton is beautiful! I took a quick couple of pictures at the side of the road.

Sunday drive

After being in Yellowstone last Sunday, today's Sunday drive just wasn't the same, LOL. But we did see some cool things.

First we drove through BYU campus where I took this picture.

Then we drove up to the state hospital grounds and saw deer in the orchard at the side of the road. Usually we only see females, but this time there was a male there.

We ended our drive at the Provo Cemetery. I love cemeteries. A lot of people find them depressing or scary, but to me they're full of history. There were several large statues on the grounds, and these two in particular caught my eye.
